Thanks for visiting my site!
I’m a freelance communications professional based in Birmingham, providing copywriting, publicity and strategic consultancy services to charities, social enterprises and other small businesses.
As a freelancer, I work with a range of clients across the country, including in Birmingham and the West Midlands, Bristol and the South West, Cheshire, and London.
I’m a firm believer in the power of communications to create positive social change – so I particularly enjoy working with non-profit organisations. I have experience across a range of areas within the sector, including specialist experience working with organisations that aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation amongst older people.
I also run the CharityComms Midlands Networking Group, a friendly, regional group for communications professionals working in non-profit organisations in the Midlands.
Before moving into the charity sector I was a television development producer with experience in specialist factual, features and documentaries for UK and international channels, and a freelance science writer for various popular science publications.

If you would like to use one of my posts on your own website, or if you would like me to write something for your blog, come and say hello on Twitter.
